About the Item
This intense and engaging abstract bronze sculpture was created by the Italian artist Roberto vecchione. The title " Scultura Spezzata" translated in "Broken Sculpture" is a multiple of 10 specimens. Every piece is numbered and signed by the artist.
The conceptual idea, was born from the studies of the multiplication of the cells. The artwork is created with the same principle and the result is a uniform artwork that hides the single cells that compose it.
Roberto Vecchione was born in Naple in 1945. Lives and works in Milan. He has been exhibited since 1967 and he took part to several Home and foreign exhibitions, among which: Biennale D'Arte della Calabria, 9th International Congress of Aestetics "Dubrovnik", Salon des Art in Paris and Sculpture Italienne in Bruxelles.
He also performed some artworks and monuments for public spaces in Italy. His works may be found in numerous Italian and foreign collections.
The artwork will be delivered with its Certificate of Authenticity numbered and signed by the author.
