In this graceful and evocative sculpture individual slab elements are assembled, layered in glaze and soda fired. This process emphasizes the smooth fluid quality of the form. Fine-Wilson combines both raw and refined aesthetic qualities in her work by incorporating smooth, glossy, matte, rough and cracked
surfaces.
