About the Item

Abstract contemporary yellow wall sculpture. Created from industrial hemp threads, the work features an organic, flowing form with a strong contemporary presence. Weighing under 2.2 lbs, this lightweight yet durable sculpture is ready to hang with an integrated metal hanging system. By Silvana Ilieva (b. 1989), the work is part of her “Regeneration” project, presented in a solo exhibition in 2025. Nature functions as material, theme, and position within the artist’s practice. She uses industrial hemp as a conscious ecological material choice, allowing the creation of large-scale yet exceptionally light and resilient works. The sculpture reflects a sustainable, eco–material-driven approach to contemporary art, evoking a sense of hope and faith in the future. Its organic form subtly echoes the spirit of Art Nouveau through a contemporary lens.
