This amazing Triangular sculpture by Vasa Mihich can completely transform any spot and be future forward as well in the vision of what sculpture and 3 dimensional form can do in space.
Every inch of moving around this piece affords different color patterns, flashes of light if sunlight is hitting it and complexity of form while appearing minimalist at first glance.
Each work by him is singular and one of a kind and well documented. The triangles are particularly nice as a work like this can sit on a large table, or on a pedestal. It is nice to have daylight near it or around it as his works cast prismatic color arrays around the piece as the sun moves which can be lovely. Not a necessity to have daylight near them but adds a whole other experience.
Stable as it has weight so like any piece of sculpture there should not be concern of knocking it over.
Vasa Mihich experimented with these Resin works for a long period of time and did this along with the Light and Space movement that was occurring in California.
His work will hold a very special place in art history as few artists did or can master this medium and he is the finest in terms of color and complexity and the laminating of different color acrylic blocks.

- Condition:Very very light and unnoticeable polishing marks to surface normal to any acrylic piece and its age. So very fine condition. Recommend plexiglass cleaner and a super soft cloth to clean when necessary.

Vasa Velizar Mihich
Academically trained as a painter, Vasa Mihich originally taught theories of color as a senior Professor of Design at the University of California, Los Angeles. The octogenarian artist has been creating his striking transparent acrylic forms since the late 1960’s in his Los Angeles studio and continues to this day to be a forward-thinking innovator.
