Sculpting spirit and energy within the folds of life, I capture light and transparency, where emotions and suspended memories are revealed. Each piece is an alchemical essay—a way to delve into an intimate journey of perception and contemplation. My work aspires to traverse the twelve stages of spiritual alchemy, reaching what alchemists call the Opus Magnum (the Great Work). My exhibitions become chapters of this journey—a process of transformation that allows me to deepen into a specific stage in order to achieve the longed-for state of purification and elevation of consciousness. At this initial stage, I explore how to work with the soul—how to extract it from the physical body in order to retain its essential intangibility. I want to understand it and to know it. It is the central element of my dialogue, the essence of my being, of my existence. Since birth, we perceive energy beyond words: the first vibration that connects us to the world, to the mother. Over time, we are taught other languages and begin to lose these abilities. Now I turn that innate perception into the compass of my artistic practice. I do not want to forget it—I must cultivate it, expand it, and transform it into conscious knowledge. At the heart of my practice lies an acute sensitivity to space and presence. I strive to render the invisible tangible; by materializing the sensory, I discover a heightened potency that leaves a lasting imprint on memory. I explore the elevation of the spirit, only to return it to the ground, sealing it so it does not dissolve into oblivion. In this process, I crystallize wisdom, breathing life into forms as if they were living, sentient bodies. I am captivated by the delicate balance between the material and the ethereal. Glass, both fragile and resilient, reflects the fleeting nature of life. Feathers—symbols across countless cultures—serve as a bridge between earth and the divine, embodying strength and refuge.
