This intense bronze sculpture was made by the well known Italian artist, Aron Demetz, in 2004, Italy.
This is a lost wax bronze hand painted. The title is "Guardando" translated in "Looking at".
Aron Demetz was born in 1972 in Selva di Val Gardena, Bozen, Italy, where he lives and works. His academic artistic studies, has been developed between 1986 and 1993 at the Selva di Val Gardena School of Art, and then he continued at the Academy of Art of Norimberga. From 2010 to 2014 he was a teacher in the Art School of Carrara.
He has known as one of the best Italian contemporary living artist.
He exhibited his works in many exhibitions in Italy and abroad. Some of them are: Red Desert, Gallery Artveras Geneve, 2016. Museo de Arte e Historia de Guanajuato, Mexico 2016. Art Center Hugo Voeten, Herentals, Belgium 2015. Self, Portraits of artist in their absence, National Academy Museum and School, New York, 2015. 53rd Biennial Art of Venice, 2009.

Aron Demetz
Aron Demetz was born in 1972 in Val Gardena. He is known as one of the best Italian contemporary living artists. He exhibited his works at the 54th Venice Biennale. He primarily uses traditional woodcarving techniques to create life-size sculptures.
