The River
Allegorical figure of a river. Terracotta cast (late 19th century) after the marble model by Caffieri in the Louvre Museum in Paris, the sculptor's reception piece at the Royal Academy of Painting and Sculpture in 1759. Has a brown patina and an overall very good condition for its age.
