Educated at Banaras Hindu University and M.S. University, Vadodara, he quickly rose to prominence, earning the National Lalit Kala Akademi Award in 2002, the INLAKS Fine Art Award and Commonwealth Arts and Crafts Award in 2005, alongside multiple state honors and a Gold Medal from BHU. His career was further shaped by a residency at Monash University, Melbourne, where he refined advanced bronze casting techniques. Singh’s works, marked by fragility and resilience, bridge traditional craftsmanship with contemporary conceptual practice, establishing him as one of India’s most innovative sculptors with international recognition.
