Title: Spirit of Man
The Spirit of Man was created as a concept piece for a major 30 foot high monument to be placed in front of the Utah Symphony Orchestra Concert Hall in Salt Lake City.
Fraughton considers this work to be one of his finest pieces he ever created.

The bronze piece is in very good condition with normal wear. With the unaided eye there are no apparent issues. Inscribed on the front of the piece: "As the young eaglet must eventually stretch forth his wings and fly, so must the mind, the body, the spirit of man, leap beyond the mediocrity of vain existence to find freedom through his own genius. Denny Haskew currently resides in Loveland, Colorado where he is actively engaged in the art industry as a sculptor. He received his degree from the University of Utah, then served two years in the United States Army during the Vietnam War. Having spent numerous years as a guide and ski instructor, Denny has learned to love the rivers and mountains of the western states of Arizona, Colorado, Idaho, Oregon, and Utah.
