About the Item
Kioetano is a bronze sculpture by contemporary artist Jacques Owczarek, dimensions are 33 × 52 × 36 cm (13 × 20.5 × 14.2 in).
The sculpture is signed and numbered, it is part of a limited edition of 8 editions + 4 artist’s proofs, and comes with a certificate of authenticity.
The sophisticated pattern of lines, curves, and edges gives this bronze scorpion its shape. The recognizable features of the animal include its legs, tail, and claws. However, the clarity of the shape, the sharpness of the lines, and the geometric aspect of the sculpture highlight the artist's unique interpretation. Sufficient elements to make this scorpion a one-of-a-kind work full of feeling.
Jacques Owczarek has no formal education. He believes that he was truly born when he discovered sculpture at the age of 30. He works diligently and meticulously to create each piece, always striving for perfection. He never begins a piece with a preconceived notion of an animal; instead, everything comes together as he works on it.

Jacques Owczarek
Jacques Owczarek’s sculptures oscillate between figuration and abstraction, redefining the genre of animal sculpture. In his bronze bestiary, the artist favours purity of form, synthesising it in a distinct, highly original style. He allows himself to be guided by his intuitions, creating animals with dynamic, geometric lines that give an impression of movement to static matter. Jacques Owczarek has exhibited at some of the most prestigious international shows and fairs for almost 20 years. “For me, the animal is just a pretext, a pretext for shapes that will question, for volumes that will live, that will settle, that will take possession of the place, that will evolve in a direction that I will give them because they impose themselves on me.’’

Bronze Sculpture EXCLOS
By Guillaume Roche
Located in Pasadena, CA
Guillaume ROCHE
The artist translates movement and energy through the dynamism of assemblages and seeks the balance of composition. His sculptures offer aerial movements, round shapes with powerful lines, delicate and sensual cuts.
The contextualization of his works, inscribing the approach of Guillaume Roche in the field of architecture: work of structure, lines, matter and skin, study of a volume and its proportions according to context and environment. His work is conceived to be connected with the territory. The EXCLOS series is born from the encounter of the concepts of EXPLOSION and ECLOSION. The artist conceives these imposing spheres of steel as a powerful breath contained by a gentle force that channels and envelops this primary energy.
Working with stainless steel, Guillaume seeks contrast through concepts such as full-void, light-weight, balance-fall. In contrast, he finds total freedom of creation...
