About the Item

Timeout, "a pause from doing something (as work)". There are many different types of timeouts. In sport or games, computer connections, gateways all have timeouts and timeout errors. In many cases it is due to a high traffic volume. In a busy work day, taking a mental timeout is a way to regroup and refocus. My most recent work is about the psychological aspects of the work day. The rectangle box is representative of a building, the opening is representative of looking into what is going on in this character's mind as he is literally taking " a pause from doing something (as work)" as defined in the dictionary. With feet up and arms behind his head it is the "power nap" that keep the mind fresh and quickly revitalizes the subject. - Jim Rennert, 2011
