Magnificent sculpture on wood by Spanish artist CODINA CORONA. Sculpture of one piece of wood . The measurements are of the sculpture without counting the base Josep Maria Codina Corona (Igualada, 1935 - Barcelona, 2006) was a Catalan sculptor. He studied at the Escola de la Llotja in Barcelona (1955) and later at the Cercle Artístic de Sant Lluc (Barcelona, 1962). He began his work as a sculptor around 1960, working in metal and wood. Towards 1977 its work adapted the way of the geometric abstraction, retaking in 1992 to its iconic figurative origins. Developing a great career as a sculptor thanks to his imagination and perseverance. With his realistic work I achieved great recognition.
