It is meticulously crafted from bronze, with colors applied to accentuate its details. Signed Bruno Luna. Bruno Luna was born in Mexico City in 1963. (his birth name was Norman Bardavid) Interested in art since his childhood, he completed a painting workshop with Professor Robin Bond, and then on to the Anahuac University of Mexico City to study Architecture and Graphic Design. He was an assistant to Marcelo Morandin, A renowned Mexican Sculptor. Over the years, his work evolved into a very distinct style, A style of voluptuousness influenced by Colombian master Fernando Botero (he calls them Gorditos) along with influences of Mexican tradition, and a cubist, almost Picasso esque treatment of the human figure. Bruno Luna's sculptures carry an undeniable air of joyousness, happiness and vitality. His work has been exhibited internationally, and is included in many public and private collections.
