Pino Signoretto (1944–2017) was a legendary Italian glass artist and master of Murano hot-sculpted glass, known for his extraordinary skill, scale, and expressive figurative works. Trained under Alfredo Barbini and later collaborating with renowned artists such as Dale Chihuly, Lino Tagliapietra, and Kiki Smith, Signoretto was celebrated for pushing the boundaries of glass as a sculptural medium. 'Hand of God' (1993) is a powerful example of his ability to fuse technical mastery with emotional intensity, rendered in hot-sculpted glass with dramatic scale and gesture. His work is held in prestigious collections and museums worldwide, and is often compared to the visionary sculptural approaches of William Morris and Martin Blank.
