Wolfgang Schott (1953 – 2019) was a German wood sculptor, restorer and artist. He lived and worked in Seßlach, a small medieval town in Germany. His favorite tools were chainsaws…
Wolfgang Schott took part in numerous exhibitions and led workshops. His usual working material was wood, large blocks of wood from which his artworks were created. But he also took part in ice festivals and used his chainsaw to cut large, delicate sculptures out of blocks of ice.
In addition to his intensive sculpting work, he was an avid musician.
