This sculpture is number 2 in an edition of 7 and can be purchased on a commission basis. Please allow 24 -30 weeks before shipping. It can also be created in smaller sizes, between 4 and 18 feet high.
Elegant and imposing, this dramatic outdoor sculpture is by Jeremy Guy. The British-born artist is known for his dynamic contemporary work, often inspired by natural form. The flowing, graceful curves of this piece are highlighted by the choice of material—stainless steel polished to a glossy, mirrored sheen. Zephyr is named after the ancient Greek word for gentle breeze—‘Zephuros’—is also the name of the God of the West Wind. The bent form is reminiscent of the northern Canadian pines that often bow to the force of winds from the west. The first one in the edition is located in front of an opera house on the Black Sea in Gelendzhik.

Jeremy Guy was born and raised in England, where he completed a BA in Product Design from Leeds Metropolitan University. Since graduating in 2001, he has been a full-time sculptor. Guy emigrated to Canada in 2007. His stone and metal sculptures can be found in public spaces and private collections around the world, including Queen Ethelburga's College Sculpture Park, North Yorkshire, UK, Orchard Residences in Singapore, the Hyatt Regency Hotel in Baltimore and more.

Jeremy Guy
Jeremy Guy grew up in England where natural inspiration has come from the work of British modern sculptors Henry Moore and Barbara Hepworth. Since completing a BA in Product Design (2001) from Leeds Metropolitan University, Guy has been in full time practice as a sculptor. He emigrated to Canada in 2007. Guy's stone and engineered stone sculptures can be found in public spaces and private collections worldwide including Queen Ethelburga's College Sculpture Park, North Yorkshire, UK, Orchard Residences in Singapore, the Hyatt Regency Hotel in Baltimore and more. "In my own abstract work I am acutely aware that nature champions great design. From the shaping of a beach pebble through years of tidal and elemental erosion to the myriad forms found in biology, I am often awestruck.
