About the Item

Linda Ridgway's formal education includes an M.F.A. from Tulane University and a B.F.A. from Louisville School of Art. She was trained as a printmaker but has since expanded her technical expertise and continues to explore, experiment, and push the limits of mediums creating incredibly delicate work that remains intimate regardless of scale. Linda Ridgway decided to work in bronze 20 years ago, adding her printmaker's point of view to an age-old medium. Fresh from her 20-year retrospective at the Dallas Museum of Art, Linda Ridgway brings her unique combination of social commentary, humor, and technical sophistication to the Bay Area.
