Lili Mirante (Paris, 1966 – last picture in the gallery) is a woman artist who lives and works in Paris. Born into a family of artists (her father was a renowned watercolorist), she has been sculpting since 1994.
Her creations reveal an immoderate taste for experimentation. Starting from a classical matrix, Lili Mirante seeks to capture movement and infuse her sculptures with great vitality. She also explores the simplification of lines to create pieces with a geometric tendency. Through the patina work on her bronzes, she plays with the heaviness of metal to give her sculptures a great lightness, favoring the effects of materials that transform bronze using unexpected colors.
