Enrico Benetta is a visual artist from the town of Treviso, Italy, who specializes in the creation of mixed-media abstract art under the shape of paintings, 3D wall art, sculptures of different dimensions, and furniture. Benetta studied Decoration in Venice and Rome, and his works have been featured in group and solo exhibitions since 2003. His inspiration was born at young age, when he was introduced to the world of writing by his grandfather, who taught how to use a typewriter, and shared the love for this art. Benetta’s work is characterized by a language that moves on different stylistic registers, impressively fused by his personality, overflowing with desire to communicate, in which varies polarity is become soldered together. His work is directed at the vast and heterogeneous audience, where everyone can enjoy his work, based on their own artistic sensibility. Benetta has a distinctive mark, whether these are canvases or installations, and his fonts create his print of excellence. The artist considers letters not as the primary element of words, but something that should be contemplated as if it were the constitutive thought of the work itself. The letters, in fact, fall on the pages, creating new stories, new adventures that the imagination of the viewer re-elaborates and finishes, giving a different meaning to the work every time. The corten steel, a natural material used for sculpture, transmits the patina of the past that evokes the fascinating elements of great volumes of histories. Benetta’s work is featured in numerous galleries across Italy; over the years he collaborated with several global luxury brands.
