"Teddy Bear (Purple with Sparkles)" cast lucite acrylic, hand-polished sculpture with sparkles by artist Mara Sfara from an edition of 25. Signature Mara Sfara and edition number 1/25 etched on right side near bottom. Created with lucite acrylic, which is resistant to water and ultraviolet rays. Using the medium of lucite versus glass enables Sfara to distribute sparkles evenly throughout the sculpture to give it a star-like, twinkling quality.
