About the Item

Wall sculpture in self-hardening paste with a painted interior revealing narrative florals and folkloric motifs. ENJOINT is a folded wall object that functions as both vessel and stage. The exterior presents a pared white shell in hand-modeled self-hardening paste while the interior surface is rendered with fine acrylic line work and vivid pigment, where small drawn figures, flowers and imagined tableaux unfold like pages of a hidden storybook. The work operates as a wall sculpture and a compact installation piece: its folded form reads as a bud or scroll that parts to expose an inner landscape, asking the viewer to move closer and to peer into an imaginative interior. As a wall sculpture ENJOINT occupies vertical space modestly yet insists on intimate proximity; it is intended for secure wall mounting with two concealed fixings and is best displayed at eye level so the painted interior can be read. Materially the piece is straightforward: hand-modeled self-hardening paste built over an internal armature, finished with gesso and multiple layers of acrylic paint applied in both linear drawing and saturated fills. The painted interior demonstrates Vera Vizzi’s recurring interest in narrative debris and the persistence of small myths within contemporary life. Conceptually ENJOINT continues the artist’s exploration of interiority versus surface — a sealed, flattened exterior giving way to a private carnival of images that recall childhood tales and the reparative power of imagination. The floral stems and tiny figures inside the fold act as mnemonic devices: they map a private topography of consolation and storytelling against a social tendency toward flattening and uniformity. In relation to Vizzi’s wider practice — which frequently stages avalanches, lunar terrains and quotidian objects as poetic topographies — ENJOINT compresses that lexicon into a single folded object that literalizes opening and revelation. The piece is suited to curatorial contexts attentive to contemporary small-scale sculpture, narrative object making and dialogic wall works that invite close looking. Display recommendations: mount on a neutral wall with direct but soft lighting to reveal both the sculptural relief of the paste and the detail of the interior painting. ENJOINT rewards slow looking and rewards viewers who linger inside its illustrated margin. We operate globally with the same attention and proximity we extend to our local neighbors. Mixed-Media Wall Sculpture foam clay, acrylic enamel on wood. "In a While"
By Vera Vizzi
Located in FISTERRA, ES
IN A WHILE (2025) is a small-scale, wall-mounted mixed-media sculpture by Vera Vizzi that transforms a familiar domestic object into a sculptural encounter. Hand-modeled in foam clay and applied onto a compact wooden block (25 x 9 x 10 cm), the work is finished with layered acrylic paint and enamel marker decoration along the extruded “tube” form. The piece foregrounds tactile surface, color contrast (white base with red/yellow graphic motifs) and a vertical, relief-like silhouette that reads equally as objet d’art or a focused accent on a gallery wall. Conceptually the work frames an everyday action — squeezing a tube — as a compressed temporal event: small gestures that compress time and meaning. Keywords for search and contextualisation: mixed media on wood, foam clay sculpture, enamel and acrylic, wall sculpture, small contemporary sculpture...

Ragisména series. Set of 2 wall Sculpture White M5, Abstract
Located in Miami Beach, FL
The Ragisména series, which in Greek means cracked, has its materiality manifested through the desire to recreate and make feelings, memories and mythology tangible in the physical world. The works have their core connected to Dehlos, a ruined island bathed by the Aegean Sea, created by Poseidon, so that Leto could have his children Apollo and Artemis in a protected land. Known for being a sacred place, Dehlos was the most important Panhellenic sanctuary almost 3 thousand years ago. In an equation between mythology and abstraction, volumes, cracks, lights and shadows come together in matter. The Ragisména work in aluminum is the result of an artistic and artisanal process that dates back to antiquity, when people used fire to shape metal. Casting consists of heating the metal until it becomes liquid and then pouring it into a mold of the work. After cooling, the mold is removed and the piece is polished. In this way, the foundry immortalizes in matter the work conceived by the artist, giving life to his vision and expression Zampol uses different materials in his work, such as metal, paper, leather, plaster, and different types of pigments. His works reflect his personal experience, his worldview, and his research on human history, from ancient civilizations to the present day. From Ragisména Series Set of 2 wall Sculpture White...
