The Rolex Sprite

This model was designed for lefties.

The Sprite, a GMT-Master II introduced in 2022 with a black dial and green-and-black Cerachrom bezel, returned to the tradition of naming models in the collection after soda brands.

The Sprite’s crown is on the left side of the case. This gives left-handed people who wear watches on their right hands easier winding access. In fact, the model is also sometimes called the Destro, the Italian word for “right.” Unlike on other lefty watches, though, the Sprite’s date window is also displaced, from the 3 to the 9 o’clock position. Some Sprite fans are drawn to the left-crown position because of style not practicality, or because they like to wear a watch on both wrists.
