Aaron Edwin Penley Art
English, 1807-1870
Aaron Edwin Penley was a watercolor-painter in ordinary to William IV and Queen Adelaide. He exhibited for the first time at the Royal Academy in 1835. Penley was a professor of drawing at the Addiscombe Military Seminary. He had painted in many parts of the British Isles, especially in Scotland.
