Full skirt with a single puffed sleeve. Very avant-garde in style, even for today! Rhinestones set in prongs create a fun bow design at bust. Dress is beautifully hand finished.
Alfred studied at Pratt and The Fashion Academy and designed for several other designers before opening his 57th avenue workshop and showroom, which he maintained through his retirement in 1986. His gowns retailed at Saks Fifth Avenue, Neiman Marcus and other high end boutiques. He dressed many celebrities and created the wardrobes for a decade of Miss Americas through the 1960s.
