The work is in full Liberty style and depicts a man, Ulysses surrounded by two figures. The famous sorceress Circe appears on the upper left corner and a second female figure is going to stop him. They are into a sea cave and, on the background, we can see the surface of the sea.

He also traveled widely in Europe and the Mediterranean. In his fifties, he began a career as a landscape gardener.
