Armando Buratti Figurative Prints
Armando Buratti was an Italian painter and engraver. He took part in Italian Portonaccio's School, a group of young artists born after the Second World War in the homonym district of Rome. Buratti inaugurated his work in Rome, for the first time in 1946 at Studio La Finestra, then he exhibited at Galleria La Tartaruga. His work can be found at the National Gallery of Modern and Contemporary Art in Rome and the Capitoline Museums. He obtained prizes in Francavilla 1957, in Florence 1958, in Marsala 1962 and Rome in 1965, where he received the Presidency of the Republic award.
