Vintage Spanish Revival Savonarola Curule Chair Striped Velvety Chenille Fabric

Beautiful condition, keeping in mind that this is vintage and not new so will have signs of use and wear. Please see photos and zoom in for details. We attempt to portray any imperfections. Circa, 1960-1970’s. This is a chair fit for a KING… or a QUEEN!!! All correct, and all very similar in style with slightly different features. It is palatial in structure with a wide U-shaped seat and frame with curved legs which create an X style base. It is comprised of gorgeous dark stained wood with horizontal turned spindles under the arms and turned stretchers on the base. The seat and back is upholstered in a fantastic gold striped velvety chenille fabric with hammered steel nail head details, and it has a carved flower motif in the center under the seat. It is sturdy, richly carved, and has a spacious, splendid design! It is Spanish Revival in style with a bit of Medieval or Renaissance Revival flair and it is sure to be an eye-catching piece in any room of your home. It would be wonderful in a corner of your bedroom, in the study across from the fireplace, or as an accent chair in the living room. It would be awesome in a game room surrounded with medieval or Renaissance décor...
