Set of 12 Gilt Edged Cauldon England Flow Blue Fish Plates with Oval Platter

This set of 12 antique Staffordshire flow blue plates was made by Cauldon England and feature the image of a large salmon leaping above the surface of a stream which is cascading over rocks. The central image is encircled within a band of aquatic vegetation and shells. The plates have scalloped rims accented with sponged gilt decoration.
The plates come with a large 23.5" by 11.25" oval platter featuring the image of a speckled salmon swimming amongst a large clump of water plants. The shoulder of the platter is finished with the same decorative band found on the plates and also has a sponged gilt rim. The underside of the pieces bear Cauldon's stamped and impressed factory marks.
