Located in the famous Diamond District in New York City, Diamond Scene specializes in creating covetable custom pieces for clients. Jewelry lovers can visit the Diamond Scene storefront in its ground floor location on 47th Street in Manhattan, and private appointments are available, too. Diamond Scene earrings range from sophisticated but subtle stud and drop designs to sumptuous dangle creations. The brand’s necklace selection encompasses alluring chokers and drop necklaces, elegant pendants, and casual but stylish link chains. Diamond Scene’s engagement rings are exquisitely crafted and set with Burmese rubies, blue sapphires and GIA-certified yellow diamonds.
The Gemological Institute of America (GIA) grades the color of yellow diamonds as Fancy Light, Fancy, Fancy Dark, Fancy Deep, Fancy Intense and Fancy Vivid. The most desirable are the last two grades: Fancy Intense and Fancy Vivid. High-quality natural yellow diamonds are rare, and unlike the fast-fashion brands that quickly serve up look-alike gowns based on celebrity finery, even major jewelry houses cannot create a collection overnight. Gems have to be sourced, designs created and jewels manufactured. It also takes time for clients to budget for such a purchase.
Diamond Scene’s wide selection of other rings also features yellow diamonds — its inventory runs the gamut from ornate cocktail rings and fashion rings to wedding rings and other types of band rings.
