Extraordinary Eric de Kolb Figural Bib in gilded sterling. An incredibly complex set of characters inhabits its massive centerpiece, primarily themed around the American West, Native Americans and the indigenous wildlife of the region.
This masterwork is made in the lost wax process, and is likely a special commission and one of a kind. It is very large in scale and precise in detail. Many areas are treated with a matte gold finish and others are hand high polished for contrast. The patination within the figures deepens the depth of detail and shows his mastery of sculpture in miniature, which he later become known for.
