Ettore Simonetti Drawings and Watercolor Paintings

Ettore Simonetti was an Italian artist, painter and watercolorist, born in 1857, in Rome, Italy. He specialized in Orientalist works and historical genre scenes. In 1869, he attended a course on geometry at the Accademia di San Luca in Rome and was awarded a prize for perspective. Many of his works employed the same figures, often rearranged or in different settings.
