By Eugene Iverd
Located in Detroit, MI
"Just Wait Til I Grow Up" is an original oil on canvas painting by Eugene Iverd, the named adopted by the artist and illustrator George Ericson when he began to do commercial work. After serving in the military where he did illustrations for their own magazines he took a teaching position at Academy High School in Erie, Pennsylvania, a place that has become strongly associated with his work.
