Giuseppe Viviani is a popular Italian artist and engraver, famous especially for marine subjects. His figures are characterized by stylized silhouettes, big and sad eyes and bright colors. With a linear and essential mark and a refined technical skill, Viviani has moved between a naive popular imagination and the thoughtful search for images of memory, recreating a world veined with deep emotion and traversed by metaphysical openings full of allusions, suggestions and meanings.
