Limed oak single bed by Heal & Son. Labelled on mattress. Circa late 1930's.
Superbly made, with each join having dowel construction. Single band carved decoration. Made in solid oak.
In good, untouched original condition, having limed loss, so appears darker. There are some marks and differences in colour around the bed with patina. No damage or woodworm.
With the original Vono bolt on side irons and sprung base, which neatly fits on top the side irons and is held in place by blocks. This has a solid wood frame, with all of the springs intact. The fabric does show some marks. The mattress is still usable but obviously has been used, you may require a mattress topper...
