After his primary and secondary education, he received a Nigeria Certificate on Education (NCE) from a prestigious college; the Federal College of Education (SPECIAL), Oyo, where he studied Fine and Applied Arts. Musa Ibrahim was the first practicing Artist who helped Ayandare in his Artistic career which was during a compulsory Industrial Training program for students in the Fine Arts department.
