Lucas Recchia Lighting

Brazilian, b. 1992

Lucas Recchia’s designs are rooted in a deep exploration of materiality and craftsmanship, merging ancestral techniques with a distinctly modern vision. His work reinterprets materialslike glass, bronze, and rare Brazilian stones, bringing them into the 21st century withsculptural forms that evoke both permanence and transformation.

Guided by an ongoing dialogue with artisans and a profound curiosity for the naturalprocesses that shape his creations, Lucas pushes the boundaries of his own understandingof design. Each piece is an investigation into how materials can hold memory, emotion, anda sense of place.

In 2025, Lucas Recchia will showcase solo exhibitions at SP-Arte in São Paulo and withBossa in New York, alongside his participation in Milan Design Week with Rossana Orlandi. The first half of the year will also feature a major presentation with Castorina in Australia.

Recognized as the most dynamic Brazilian designer in both the national and internationalmarkets, Lucas’s work is represented in prestigious galleries and flagship stores acrossNorth and South America, Europe, the Middle East, and Asia. His collaborations with globalfashion brands such as Louis Vuitton, Dior, and Off-White have solidified his place as a keyfigure in contemporary collectible design, with his pieces held in the private collections ofdiscerning collectors and visionaries around the world.
