Marsh, Jones & Cribb were respected and famous furniture makers in the Victorian era. They were known for their quality craftsmanship, solid hardwoods, and designs ranging from gothic to arts and crafts. They began as cabinet makers, circa 1850 in Leeds as Marsh & Jones of Leeds. They later expanded to London when the well-known cabinetmaker Henry Humphries Cribb sent his son to serve his apprenticeship with Marsh and Jones.
