A rare Martin Brothers miniature stoneware art pottery vase decorated in brown glazes by Walter Martin and believed to date from the 19th century. This lovely little vase is of rounded bulbous with a narrow rounded foot and a funnel shaped neck with rounded opening. The vase is decorated in brown glazes with a slight textured finish in places with an exposed underlying white glaze revealed around the foot and top rim. The vase is marked partially indistinctly with a W M mark to the base. The vase is offered in good condition. Provenance: acquired from an extensive private Martin Brothers pottery collection.
