In our humble opinion, this luxurious sofa clearly belongs in a library, study, or den. The only thing really missing from this tableau are a fireplace, a fresh cigar and a glass of Macallan.
While there are many designers in the mid century modern realm that may be more well known than Maurice Bailey, his influence and design can be seen even today in more elegant timeless pieces. His pieces have a very gentleman type feel and would look incredible in any type of mid century modern, Hollywood Regency, or even more traditional environments.
