Maurice Chot-Plassot Art
Maurice Chot-Plassot was born in Neuilly-sur-Seine, 1929. He studied at the ateliers of Bersier, Cami, Galanis ed Goerg. He obtained, in 1956, the Second Prix of Rome for engraving. He participated in different group expositions like the Salon d'Automne and the Société des peintres-graveurs français and became a member from 1964. He was best known for etchings and xylographs. The light effects, in his work, were realized with very high contrast between black and white.
