I am always looking for great views of London, views that best illustrate the beautiful lines and shapes that make it such an iconic city. To achieve this view I hung out of a helicopter with the doors taken off. It was worth the extra heartbeats. The image is then digitally manipulated to trace the outlines of the buildings, coloured on a graphics tablet, and printed directly onto brushed aluminium. This gives the piece an etched effect. A smart aluminium frame on the back makes it very easy to hang. The piece is also available in a larger size: 104 x 152 cm. Please note, this piece is made to order.
