English set of eight Arts and Crafts style dining chairs of impressive quality and condition from the 1860s. The geometric carvings are restrained in design and implemented to create an architectural effect. Worn leather seats with nailhead trim are still comfortable and generous in size. The chocolate brown leather is in gently worn condition (including some craquelure) and rich in color, complementing the oak frames.
