Otto Natzler
Austrian, 1908-2007
Otto Natzler was born in Vienna, Austria, and immigrated with his wife Gertrud to America at the advent of WWII. They settled in Los Angeles, where they began a ceramics studio. Their now well-documented collaboration lasted over thirty years until Gertrud died in 1971. Natzler continued his career after his wife's passing for another 35 years until his death at the age of 99.
