Pierre Gautiez Art
Although Pierre Gautiez was born in 1922 in Yonne, it was in Normandy that his artistic career unfolded. A friend of the painters of Rouen, including Mirianon, Breant Cramoysan and Sébire, among others, he was president of the Society of Norman Artists. Seduced by the sea, the skies, the shores and the luminous contrasts, Gautiez particularly adored the skies of Provence and the Mediterranean — which attracted him for a moment — as well as the banks of the Channel, the North Sea and the Baltic. Numerous titles and distinctions, official acquisitions, have rewarded Gautiez's talent in France and abroad.
