Piet Parra (born Pieter Janssen, 1976) is a Dutch visual artist, illustrator, and designer best known for his instantly recognizable graphic style defined by bold colors, surreal character forms, and abstracted typography. Based in Amsterdam, Parra emerged in the late 1990s from the skateboarding and street-art scenes, where his work first gained attention through board graphics, flyers, and album artwork.
Parra’s visual language blends playful humor with unsettling distortion. His signature figures—often featuring exaggerated limbs, floating eyes, and biomorphic shapes—sit at the intersection of fine art, graphic design, and pop culture.
