Abstracted serigraph composition with geometric shapes and figures with a face submerging from the middle. 10/80. Shlomo Schwartz was born in the small town of Bukovina,Romania in 1934. After experiencing the Holocaust in Europe he immigrated to Israel in 1948, at the age of 13 he celebrated his Bar Mitzvah and the birth of the state of Israel. In Israel,at the studio of the renowned artist Aharon Avni, Shlomo studied art under the direction of Moshe Mokady, Marcel Janco, Avigdor Stematsky and Yechezkel Streichman. Shlomo Schwartz was among the first to graduate from this prestigious institute. Shlomo Schwartz won the Israel Artists Association prize in 1956 for his participation in the exhibition of young artists.He has since been a permanent participant there in a one man show as well as a participant in many other group and general exhibitions.
