Simone Rosenbauer Still-life Photography
German, b. 1977
Born in Germany in 1977, Simone Rosenbauer received her bachelor’s and master’s degrees there at the University of Applied Sciences and Arts in Dortmund. Thereafter, she was granted the Europe Endeavor Award from the Australian government to pursue MFA studies in photography at the University of New South Wales in Sydney. She completed her studies there in 2010 and continues to live, work, and teach in the Sydney area. In 2011, her work was selected for participation in the reGeneration2 project, sponsored by the Musée de l’Elysée (Lausanne, Switzerland) and Aperture Foundation (New York). Her work continues to be shown in many local and international venues.
