Known as the 'Imperial Chair' series model no. 976 were imported from Italy by the Weiman/Warren Lloyd company in the 1970s and distributed in the United States through Mastercraft Furniture of Grand Rapids, Michigan. Mastercraft specialized in chairs and case pieces with traditional forms and modernized veneers and finishes.
