By Dean Meeker
Located in Studio City, CA
A wonderfully composed, abstract designed limited edition silkscreen serigraph print by American artist Dean Meeker. He studied at the Art Institute of Chicago, Northwestern University, and the University of Wisconsin. In 1958, Meeker was awarded a Guggenheim Fellowship for 1959 and 1960 to study printmaking in Europe. In Paris, he worked at Hayter's printmaking workshop, Atelier 17, and with printmaker Kaiko Moti while also studying in museums in Spain and Italy. Meeker's works are in collections worldwide including the Metropolitan Museum of Art (New York), Museum of Modern Art, Whitney Museum of American Art, National Gallery of Art, Smithsonian, Milwaukee Art...
