An exceptional, fine and impressive pair of antique George V English sterling silver vases made in the Arts and Crafts style by Guild of Handicraft; an addition to our ornamental silverware collection These exceptional antique George V sterling silver vases have a cylindrical form to a circular shaped spreading foot. The surface of each silver vase is embellished with applied Arts and Crafts style stylized conjoined foliage designs flanked with rope twist decorated borders. The lower rounded portion of the body is encircled with chased tri-lobed style arched designs, subdivided in equal distances to the aforementioned leaf designs. The upper rim of each vase is encompassed with further rope twist and applied ribbed decorated borders. The large spreading foot reflects an offset variation of the chased design to the lower portion of the body. The interior of each exceptional vase retains the original gilding.
